PeeWee AE, 2012-2013 (Ilderton Jets)

The season came to a finish with the boys and families enjoying a get away Easter weekend while staying in Niagara Falls, and competing in the Lincoln/Beamsville 7th Annual AE Memorial Tournament.

The Ilderton PeeWee AE Jets season came to a crashing end as the BCH Ice Dogs scored 2 minutes into overtime giving them a 3-2 win and the series 3 games to 1. The Ilderton arena was buzzing with anticipation, as fans for both teams were hoping for victory. The Jets once again built up a 2-0 lead only to have the Dogs claw there way back into it. ..... enabling the BCH Ice Dogs to take a 2-1 game lead in the OMHA Semi Finals. BCH scored with 6 minutes left in the 3rd period for a come from behind 3-2 win. Jets jumped out to an early 2-0 lead on goals by Dylan Christensen but went into the 2nd intermission tied at 2. Game #4 is on Friday, March 1st at 7:30PM in Ilderton. Come out and cheer the Jets on to a win and keep the series going!

Jets dominated from the first face off in Game #2 to even up their OMHA Semi Finals series. The boys brought their "A" game to Hensall on Saturday and rolled over the Ice Dogs. Neil Collver scored the game winner early on while Isaiah Smith with 2 and Hunter Thornton staked the Jets to a 4-0 lead going into 2nd intermission. James Markovic added an insurance goal in the 3rd. A complete team effort kept the Ice Dogs from getting back into the game. Matthew Queenan faced very few scoring attempts to record the shutout.
