IMHA 50/50 Raffle FAQ
1. Where is the money raised from this raffle going?
Funds raised by this raffle will assist us in our ongoing efforts to keep minor hockey accessible and affordable for families while also enhancing player experience.
2. What is Rafflebox?
Rafflebox is the company administering the raffle for IMHA. They are an approved provider through the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
3. How are tickets sold?
Tickets are available online at www.ildertonjets.com, 50/50 Jackpot Tab, where you will be re-directed to the Rafflebox sales page. We may sell tickets at local events in the future.
4. How does it work?
IMHA loads the player name to the ticket sales page. The player’s associated email address is the address used when registered with IMHA. The player name is added to our list of players on the sales page and anyone in Ontario (18 or older) can purchase tickets in support of your player.
5. Where does the money go?
50% of the money goes to the winners, 20% goes to IMHA, 20% goes to the individual players, and 10% or less goes to the administration, licensing fees, etc.
6. What’s in it for me?
You receive 20% of the total ticket sales sold in support of your player to a maximum of free registration for the 2022-2023 season. For example, if your player has $1,000 in ticket sales you will receive $200 refunded to you at the end of the raffle. Funds earned by graduating players can be used to offset a sibling. If no siblings in IMHA, the funds go back to IMHA. In addition, the ticket sales supporting your player also supports the entire organization, helping us keep registration costs down.
7. Do I need to sell tickets?
No, there is no need to actively sell tickets or participate in this 50/50. If you chose not to take advantage of this opportunity to reduce registration costs, please
contact [email protected] and we will remove your player from the “in support of” page.
8. What are the key dates?
Three Draws will be held: Dec/04/2021, Jan/29/2022 and March/30/2022, at 9 pm each date, in Ilderton, ON.
