FACILITY PROTOCOLS FOR RETURN TO PLAY
Submitted By Mike Harding on Friday, September 25, 2020
To ALL IMHA Members and players. The Municipality of Middlesex Centre has created Facility Use Protocols for each of the arenas that IMHA uses for our Hockey Program. ALL IMHA Members and players must follow these protocols to participate in any Hockey Activities in the Ilderton Arena and the Komoka Wellness Center. These Protocols will be posted as part of the IMHA Return to Play Framework and by Middlesex Center in each facility.

Below are some very quick and important reminders of what is required/expected as you use each facility:

Players/Coaches/Parents:

- Masks must be worn by all parties entering the facility including the dressing rooms until such time as their helmet is put on.

- Players/Teams will not be allowed into the facility until 15 minutes prior to the scheduled ice time.

- Players/Teams must depart the facility within 10 minutes after the end of the ice session.

- Players must arrive partially dressed and dressing rooms will be used for putting on skates and helmets only.

- Goalies must arrive with their base layer, socks, and pants on. They will be permitted to bring a bag in with the rest of their gear to put on at the facility.

- Parents can tie skates at the chairs provided in the lobby or outside the changes rooms but must exit immediately.

- Showers will not be available for use.

- A Trainer at each ice time is MANDATORY

- A sign-in form and Questionnaire will be required to be completed by each player/parent prior participating in on ice activities. Failure to complete this form will result in the player not being able to participate on that day.

- IF YOU ARE SICK – STAY AT HOME.

Players:

- Ensure that you have your own water bottle clearly marked with your name on it (Have some fun with it and customize one at home for yourself).

- Do not share ANY equipment. This includes Sticks, Tape, and Mouthguards!

Parents:

- Spectators are not permitted at this time as per the Municipality rules for Occupancy during COVID.

- ONE accompanying parent observer, guardian, or adults for each GROUP will be allowed in the facility during the ice time. That is one observer per GROUP, not per player. Please be courteous and rotate during the ice time so that all parents may observe if they want to.

- 20 On Ice Participants will be allowed

- Up To 4 off ice officials will be permitted if required. This would include a dressing room monitor and/or trainer and will be at the discretion of the Development Lead for each group.
