COVID UPDATE
Submitted By Mike Harding on Wednesday, July 22, 2020
I am sure many are wondering where we are with regards to minor hockey.  IMHA is working with our governing hockey bodies, local health authorities and the Municipality.
Our goal is to ensure we get hockey started as quickly and as safely as possible.  With our region being promoted to Phase 3, more conversations are happening with regards to Return to Play protocols and procedures.

As of right now, we cannot provide a date as to when hockey will start.  We do not know if hockey will be played just locally with no travel or if teams will be allowed to travel to other centres.  Once more information is given to us, we will pass on in a timely fashion.

We are fully committed to the 2020-2021 season. The Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) has requested we stop accepting payment for registration temporarily, as a result we have put our registration on hold for now. All registration completed will still be honored, nothing is needed from members who have registered. An email will be sent when registration can be reopened as soon as we have some clear direction from the OHF and the OMHA.

Thank You

IMHA Executive
