HOCKEY CANADA MULTI-SPORT SUMMER CAMP - MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON
Hockey Canada (HC), in partnership with the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF), Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) and the Board of the Ilderton Minor Hockey Association (IMHA) are excited to announce that they are co-hosting a full week multi-sport summer camp at the
Komoka Wellness and
Recreation Centre, August 17th to 21st, 2020.
Middlesex Centre, ON will be one of two locations that the camp will be offered in Ontario this summer. The other location being the Humphrey Community Centre in Sequin, ON. A very popular camp in its 6th year!
The Hockey Canada Multi-Sport Summer Camp program combines on-ice skill development with increased physical literacy off the ice. Each day will include two, 75 minute, on-ice sessions focused on individual skill development fundamentals such as skating, stick-handling and puck-control, shooting, and passing - with the final day focused on applying each of these skills in an exciting small area games competition!
Our off-ice sessions will be led by various Provincial or National Sport Organizations to introduce us to new sports and teach us how becoming better all-around athletes will benefit us on the ice. In the past, we have been fortunate to have Athletics Canada, Ontario Volleyball Association, Baseball Canada, Canada Basketball, Canadian Lacrosse Association, Spikeball, Ontario Soccer Association, Ultimate Canada, Rugby Ontario, & the Golf Association of Ontario in attendance at our summer camps. Stay tuned for further updates on who will be bringing with us to Middlesex Centre this summer!
The cost per child is $475 and includes a Hockey Canada Summer Camp Jersey, Camp T-Shirt, and gift at the end of each day.
