Congratulations to the U11 C Boys Team!
Yesterday was a long day for the U11 C team as they participated in the Regional Silver Stick tournament in Alvinston.
The team won both round robin games to take them to the Quarter Finals yesterday morning, where they won against North Middlesex, taking them to the Semi- finals against Wallaceburg in the afternoon.
After a very exciting double overtime of 4 on 4 and 3 on 3, followed by a shoot out, the boys won and advanced to the finals.
They battled hard and gave it everything they had, but a late 9pm game and a long day left them depleted. It was a proud moment for all in attendance as you watched them play their hearts out, leaving it all out on the ice. There were tears and shaky legs, but they never stopped moving.
Congratulations to this team on a Silver medal in the Silver stick tournament!
