Ontario Further Strengthening Response to Omicron
In response to the rapidly-spreading and highly transmissible Omicron variant the Ontario government announced further safety measures and capacity limits that take effect on Sunday December 19 at 12:01am.

These include:

-        50% spectator capacity limits in the spectator areas

-        No outside food or drink allowed in the facility

-        No concessions or vending services

Please advise that Sundays ice time activity can carry on as normal but ensuring that no outside food or drink is brought into the facility.

Active Pre-Screening and Vaccination verification will remain in effect and anybody entering the facility ages 12 + must show proof of full vaccination and complete a set of prescreening questions plus show identification.

We all have a role to play in keeping participants, spectators, and facility staff safe this holiday season.  Facility staff are not making the rules yet are being asked to enforce the guidelines as brought forth by the province.

Please respect these protocols and set examples for the young athletes.

There is a possibility that the Middlesex London Health Unit may introduce some further restrictions next week but if they do, we will be sure to advise you.

On behalf of all the IMHA executive we would like to wish you and your families a safe and enjoyable holiday season.
