U9 C Girls Tryouts for 2025/26 Season
Welcome to the 2025/2026 Ilderton Jets U9 Girls Hockey Season. Our prep skates will be starting tomorrow with evaluations immediately following.

There is no fee for tryout/evaluations, everyone is welcome to attend both the pre-skates & evaluation skates.
Please check-in (not sure where since there is no lobby, but likely by dressing rooms) to obtain a practice jersey with numbers during the evaluation skate. For the pre-skates please just use your own practice jersey.
We have an exhibition game scheduled with St. Marys for Sept 13 at 9:45am as a part of the evaluations. We will play a half ice game on each side of the rink dividing players.
Most of our skates are at the Ilderton Arena, and is currently still under renovations. The ice surface and stands are accessible, but the lobby & dressing rooms & washrooms will not be. There will be temporary washrooms on site in a trailer, as well as temporary dressing rooms in office trailers to the west of the arena. My understanding is that the dressing rooms will have a carpet floor, in addition to carpet trail from dressing rooms to the rink. Further, there will not be any space in the arena to put skates on within the arena itself. Players will need to walk from the trailers to the arena fully geared up. It is strongly recommended on the carpet & while walking in the arena you have a set of skate guards to as best as possible keep your skates in good condition. Parents will be able to access the stands through the side entrance as well. It is not an ideal circumstance, but hopefully a short-term situation that will be worth the wait for the end product!
