The following information was shared at the U5/U6/U7 Information session at the Back to Hockey BBQ.

ALL Families will need to complete the following tasks:

 

The following list needs to be uploaded to your Hockey Canada Registry Profile (HCR Profile).  We need to submit an official roster to the OMHA, and participants must have the following items UPLOADED to their HCR Profile.  If any info is missing, then we are unable to submit the roster for approval.

 

Registration documents

• Parents Driver’s License
• Child’s Birth Certificate
• Utility bill from your home address
• PRIVIT Health Form https://ildertonjets.privitprofile.ca/index.jspa
• RIS – Parent https://omhahockeyparent.respectgroupinc.com/koala_final/
  • Only 1 parent is required to complete the Respect in Sport Parent course.

 

Any Parent that steps onto the ice requires a Vulnerable Sector Check

• Vulnerable Sector Check (Police Check) https://www.opp.ca/
• Attached is the Letter from IMHA that needs to be submitted.
• After you receive your Vulnerable Sector Check, please email a copy to [email protected] so the information can be inputted into the Hockey Canada Portal.

 

Any Parent that would like to become a Coach for the entire Season.

• IMHA will reimburse you for any Online Coaching Courses Fees.

• RIS – Leader https://omhahockeyparent.respectgroupinc.com/koala_final/
  • This course is different than the RIS Parent course.
• Hockey University – online course https://www.omha.net/coach
• Coach 1 – Intro to Coach Course https://www.omha.net/coach

 

Trainer 

• 2 Trainers are required for the U7 Team.  
•  Having multiple Trainers per team is preferred, to cover off any absences.
• IMHA will reimburse you for any Online Trainer Course Fees.

• HTCP Level 1 Online Course https://www.omha.net/trainer

 

Season Structure

• Fridays @ 5:30pm – skills/drills
• Saturdays @ 10:00am – warm up and Intersquad Games
• Starts - October 6
• Ends – March 30
• September Schedule = Sept 9, 16, 17, 23 & 24
• Knights Jamboree + Knights Game
• Mt. Brydges Jamboree
• January 15 – booking exhibition games (Lucan, Parkhill etc.)
