Novice C Shamrock (Ilderton Jets)

WOW!! What a great team effort by the boys tonight!   It was such an exciting game, with the winning goal scored in overtime with only 1 minute left to play!   Everyone out there played their hardest and earned this win.    Great job Jets!  On to the semi-finals we go!   GO JETS GO!!!

A WORD FROM THE COACHES:  The coaches and parents are unbelievably proud of the way each and every player played this whole week.  Everyone listened to what the coaches said and did what they were asked.   Because of everyone's determined effort, we achieved the ultimate goal of winning the Regional Silver stick!  We all played as a team and supported each other throughout the tournament and we are so very proud and want to congratulate everyone on this achievement.  Go Jets Go!!!

As a way of showing caring and kindness for others at Christmas this year, the Novice Shamrock boys decided to support the Ailsa Craig Food Bank.  Each boy chose an 'Angel' from the 'Angel Tree' at the Ilderton Post Office and bought a gift for their 'Angel'.  Each 'Angel' represents a child in our community who could benefit from a little extra kindness this Christmas.   The boys then brought their 'Angel' gifts to the Post Office as a group.   I think they enjoyed knowing that their gifts would bring a little joy to a child just like them this Christmas.

A WORD FROM THE COACHES:   "The coaches were all proud of the kids for the way they played the entire weekend.  All of the games were against bigger centers than Ilderton and we managed to win 4 out of 5. The boys should be proud of the Silver medal they received and hopefully we can build on this weekend and continue to improve as we enter a tough stretch on our schedule.'
