Grand River Remembrance Day Classic Tournament!
The coaches and parents are super impressed by this band of battlers this weekend! The team spent valuable time together having fun and getting to know each other better, swimming, and taking in the sights of the Elora Gorge. Along the way the girls played some fantastic hockey, with the majority of the team just recovering from being sick or not at 100 %. Still under the weather, Summer Robb couldn't stand missing her teammates, so with Dad Karl woke up before 5 am Sunday morning to drive to Fergus for our 8 am semi-final game, providing the team a tremendous spark! The girls battled hard and lost on the scoreboard to the eventual tourny champs - Congrats Team on a fantastic first tourny with more kicks at the can to come: Samantha Simpson, Summer Robb, Sam Rascao, Adele Price, Sinead Pollock, Hailey Notte, Maya Hosack, Alyssa Foster, Chloe De Vries, Amelia Conlin, Ryleigh Brosnan and Sydnee Adams.
