Good Evening Parents,
I apologize in advance for the lengthy update but I wanted to get a lot of the details for this upcoming season in front of our parent group.
We have received the jerseys/socks and have divided our players into 4 balanced teams.
Our coaches will have a table set up at the arena entrance and will be distributing them before the 10:00am ice time this Saturday October 22nd. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before to collect your jerseys/socks and submit your fundraising Cheque (see Cheque details below). I have attached a pdf file with the team rosters and coaches.
Please see below for a few important notes related to our U7 Season:
1) $200 Fundraising Cheques:
- Each Player that is Registered in IMHA is required to hand in a $200 Cheque:
o Addressed to: Ilderton Minor Hockey Association.
o Post Dated for: March 31, 2023.
o ***if the last name on the Cheque differs from the player’s name, please indicate this in the memo section.
- A Cheque is the only form of payment accepted.
- Parents can volunteer throughout the year to gain Credits.
o 5 Credits = $200 (IMHA will rip up your cheque and not cash).
o 0 to 4 Credits = $0 (IMHA will cash your cheque on March 31, 2023).
2) How to Earn Volunteer Credits:
- IMHA Events that require Volunteers:
o Jr. C Game in Ilderton (November 19th).
o IMHA Picture Day (October 23rd).
o IMHA Hockey Day in Ilderton (February, 2023)
- I have also copied Pat Conlin (Director of Fundraising) and he can be contacted directly for any further information.
3) IMHA Picture Day:
- Scheduled for this Sunday October 23rd (right after our practice)
o 9:00am: Team Black (Hanagan) and Team Blue (Berk)
o 9:30am: Team Orange (Read) and Team White (Parsons)

4) One Day Jamborees/Tournaments:
- We are planning on entering two one day hockey tournaments this season:
o Wednesday December 28th, 2022: London Knights U7 Jamboree at Budweiser Gardens (two to three 50-minute games followed by the Knights game in the evening).
o Saturday January 7th, 2023: U7 Mount Brydges Cougars Jamboree.
- There will be an additional cost to those who wish to participate in the Jamborees, and they are not mandatory; however, I will be sending a separate email soon as we will need to know numbers well in advance so we can register accordingly.
5) Exhibition Games with Other Minor Hockey Associations:
- In the New Year, we are planning to schedule half ice games with other Minor Hockey Associations in the area (i.e. Lucan).
- Two of our teams would play two of the other Associations teams on our Saturday 10:00am ice and our other 2 teams would travel to the other arena and play their other teams.
- I will be sending more information on this once we have the dates in place with the other Associations.
