Development Ice
Hey Everyone,
I would just like to give a brief description of the development ice plan for the season.
We will be having some new and old faces out throughout the course of the season with one main goal in mind... Developing our players to their highest possible level of play. To start the season we will have Bill Dark as our goalie instructor and Jason Williams and his Assistant Steve Beck out for the first round of development skates.
The structure of this years development skates will be different from the years past. This season instead of having the ice divided into team based slots, it will be shared ice with similar skill set teams. This structure helps keep the per team cost down on the development side of things and allows more time spent on the ice throughout the season. The best way for players to develop is by working on their skills on the ice. With our high level of instruction and increased time on the ice hopefully we are able to make the most out of our hard earned money this season.
I ask that the head coach be available for on ice drill support and should you not be able to make it have one of your assistants fill in.
