Blue Team brought home the gold last night winning their OMHA/LM Division
Championship against a strong East Lambton Eagles White Team in Alvinston.
The coaching staff and parents could not be prouder of the level of effort, determination, dedication, and sportsmanship exhibited by all of our players throughout the regular season and playoffs.
It is amazing to look back on how far the team has progressed. Our season started with only one win in the first six games and ended with only one loss in the last ten games. We were challenged going into the playoffs and as Coach Mark Schram was quoted as saying, “good teams sometimes get lucky!” It is this kind of luck that builds strong friendships and encourages us to work together as a team to achieve greatness.
We look forward to one final weekend of fun and possibly a bit more luck as wrap up this season as Ilderton Jets in Tillsonburg as participants in the Max Partlo Memorial Tournament (March 24-26 2017).
