International Silver Stick Champions
2013 - 2014 Novice International Silver Stick Champions in St. Clair Shores Michigan.
What a amazing performance by our kids January 24th to January 26th in the St.Clair Shores International Silver Stick Tournament. The team went undefeated all weekend and played great together as a team bringing home the championship. The team had some hard fought battles but would not give up and played thier hearts out in every game. I would like to thank all the coaches, parents, grand parents and everybody from Ilderton Minor hockey who either called or sent messages wishing the kids good luck and encouraging them to go out and give it their all.
Pool Play:
Friday January 24th.
Game 1 - Ilderton Jets vs Pembroke Kings. Ilderton won 3 - 0.
Game 2 - Ilderton Jets vs. BCH Ice Dogs. Ilderton won 4 - 1.
Saturday January 25th.
Game 3 - Ilderton Jets vs. Elmvale Coyotes. Ilderton won 4 - 0.
Ilderton finishes first in their pool and move onto the semi-finals.
Sunday January 26th.
Semi-finals - Ilderton Jets vs. Kincardine HH Kinuks. Ilderton won 4 - 2.
Finals - Ilderton Jets vs BCH Ice Dogs. Ilderton won 3 - 2.
I would also like to thank the BCH Ice Dogs team for an unbelievable game and the great effort they gave.
